Graffiti is often understood as a synonym to vandalism. In Prague it matches another word, Street Art. It has become a way to express one’s self–in a legal way though festivals and contracts. These “Graffiti Walls” at their foundation are where these artists come to play, bringing life to areas that might not have any otherwise. It created a sense of connectedness for the residents of the city. Some cities are centers of poetry. Prague is a graffiti hub.
